Times may have changed, but ambitions have not, and Claude Bristol’s tough-minded, hard-hitting message remains as fresh and focused as it was 50 years ago.

5 Stars Hay! Hay! What the Hay, Everything is OK!
Hay, Hay, What the Hay All is OK & so is the book” The Magic Of Believing”. 5 stars.
5 Stars How To Set Goals…..and then ACHIEVE THEM!
The Magic of Believing by Claude Bristal is one of those magical books like Think & Grow Rich that never get old and never stop delivering on their promises. Like Napoleon Hill’s work, many if not all of the top trainers of today have Claude Bristol in their work.
Back in 1976 I promoted a bodybuilding contest which featured Arnold Schwarzeneggar. Arnold was big on mental conditioning. He talked about using mental pictures and running movies over and over in your mind to see success before it has happened. Exactly what Bristal says to do in this book.
About the same time, I was involved in anetwork marketing company and all of the top people raved about The Magic of Believing. Many of these people were making $20,000 a month and more and this was in 1970s $$$$!!! That is like $100,000 a month today.
What impressed me was when I read about the “mirror technique.” Really nothing new, a lot of people use it. Actors use it. Speakers use it. The most successful sales people use it. What impressed me was when I read that a drunk man talked himself sober in about 5 minutes using nothing but the mirror technique. The top rep int he company I was in at that time said he never left home without using the mirror technique. He even used it throughout the day. It is the fastest way to reach the subconscious mind.
I heard that some people had doubled, tripled and even quadrupled their incomes with use of this technique. I started using it before sales calls, early in the morning and last thing at night. My income went quadrupled in less than a month.
Like Think & Grow Rich, this is must reading for anyone who wants to reach their maximum potential. While you are at it, read TNT another great book by Bristal. And if you don’t have it already, get Think & Grow Rich.
Good to see the great Nido Qubein do the forward. Talk about a success story and a testiment to the merits of this book! It’s hard to beat Nido Qubein.
5 Stars This Book Changed My Life!
This Book Clearly Changed My Life!
I would read it, and it literally took a year for me to “Believe” that what Claude teaches in this book really works! I couldnt believe it, based on my pre-conditioning, and yet taking on these new beliefs changed my life. I’ve gone on to creating my own lead/data sales business which has been going successful now for 5+ years.
I strongly suggest you pick up a copy of this book, if you want to get on the high road to success!
5 Stars The only Law of Attraction book you will ever need
I have read just about everything LOA out there - you know what/who I mean: Hicks, Canfield, Proctor, Vitale and on and on and on. I’ve tried it their way and nothing worked.
I had picked up this book years ago and finally read it this past week. I am blown away. I love this book! Everything you ever wanted to know about LOA is in this book. Everything. And, best of all, without the flowery new age speak that seems so prevelant these days.
I get it now. I see it working in my life. I like Bristol’s easy-going, common sense style. He advocates faith and belief in yourself. Don’t go looking to the government, the church, your parents, your spouse to save you. Look within and realize that you have access to unlimited power. I love that it was written in 1948. To be able to look back and see how far as a society we have come in such a short time is amazing.
To those reviewers that complained there are no techniques, just stories. The stories *ARE* the techniques. Look at what some of those people accomplished in times that we will most likely (hopefully) never experience. Tough faith and common sense is the key.
I’m reading it again now. To me, this book is the only LOA book that is worth anything and it was written before the LOA craze.
